Abstract Ausgehend von dem Aldehyd (I) und Dimethylamin wird über die Stufen (II)‐(V) das Thietan (VI) synthetisiert, das mit Mustelan, dem Stinkstoff aus den Analdrüsen des Nerzes und Iltisses, identisch ist.
