Abstract

Abstract Using the corn silk as raw material and different extraction methods of total saponins were studied in this paper. Researching of organic reagent extraction, ultrasonic method, microwave method of total saponin extraction rate influence, and the three methods of total saponin and a comparative experiment of extracting dynamic characteristics were presented. The results showed that solvent organic reagent method was higher extraction efficiency, but longer extraction time and more complicated operation steps; the microwave and Ultraviolet extraction were less extraction resistance, higher extraction efficiency, lower extraction temperature, and saving time. Therefore, the microwave method and ultrasonic method as the maize tassel saponin extraction method was worthy of popularization.
