リンパ増殖性疾患の診断には,理学的所見としてリンパ節腫脹.検査所見として末梢血異常,すなわちリンパ球増加などが認められることによって,その存在が予測される.確定診断には,リンパ節生検による組織検査,および免疫組織学的・免疫細胞学的検索が必須である.末梢血異常を認めた場合は,リンパ球の形態学的検索と細胞表面形質の検索が重要である.
