Abstract

In this paper, an aeroelastic analysis for flexible structures is presented. Dynamic response of an aircraft wing structure subjected to aerodynamic loading is obtained through the application of the finite elements method. The modal analysis based on the natural mode shapes using generalized modal forces, being highly nonlinear, is adapted. The FLUTTER phenomenon on a HALE aircraft wing is investigated and the obtained results are compared with those available in the open literature.
