Large airports have become to be built far in the distance of cities in Japan. In such cases, the noise duration increases because of the increases of aircraft altitude in residual areas although the noise level is reduced. Therefore it possibly provides some problems to evaluate the aircraft noise independently of environmental noise when the frequency of flight is large. The purpose of this study is to find the way to evaluate the effect of aircraft noise on the environmental noise level considering the flight frequency on the basis of quantitative relationship between the noisiness and loudness of environmental noise clarified as well as that of aircraft noise in the distance.
