On the "Law on Ethnic Minority Education"

Currently our country is stepping up the formulation of "Regulations for Ethnic Minority Education." Since the promulgation of the "Education Law," the "Regulations for Ethnic Minority Education" have been entered into the state's "Plan for the Principal Complementary Laws for the ‘Education Law,’ which will be promulgated and implemented by the State Council. Along with the deepening of the reform of China's ethnic minority education and the all-around development of legislative practices, the formulation of the "Law on Ethnic Minority Education"—China's basic law for ethnic minority education—will bring to gradual maturity the time when the main aspects of ethnic minority education shall have laws to abide by. In this article I have conducted a preliminary exploration on this matter, and I look forward to comments and criticisms from experts in this field.
