Abstract
Three cases of first molar root resorption, due to impacted maxillary and mandibular second premolars, presented over a period of 5 months. It is suggested that this may not be such an uncommon occurrence as is generally believed. The clinical situations in which the unerupted second premolar may start resorbing first molar roots are described and methods of identifying and treating this problem suggested.
