Open publisher page 12 citations

Abstract

Adenolymphoma (Warthin's tumor) is a relatively frequent tumor of the parotid gland with characteristic cytological, histological and clinical features. Malignant transformation of the epithelial component of adenolymphomas is extremely rare and not well documented in the literature. In a series of eight adenolymphomas of the parotid gland transition to malignancy was demonstrated cytologically and histologically in one case.
