Brucella Epididymoorchitis: A Case Report

Abstract

Brucellosis is a zoonosis found worldwide. Brucellosis caused by Brucella melitensis is a systemic infection that can involve any organ. Epididymoorchitis is the most frequent genitourinary complication of brucellosis, but it is rare in children. We report a pediatric case of brucella epididymoorchitis who recovered dramatically with brucellosis treatment. (J Pediatr Inf 2012; 6: 161-2)
