The Treatment of Nonobstru c t i v e U r i n a ry Retention with High- F requency Transvaginal Electrical Stimulation

The usefulness of timed vo i d i n g ,ch o l i n e rgic medications,and highf r e q u e n cy electrical stimulation in women with symptomatic urinary retention was eva l u a t e d .Results indicated that symptomatic urinary retention can be treated with behavioral modification and high-freq u e n cy electrical stimu l a t i o n .Optimal results were found in yo u n ge r women with stable bl a dd e rs .
