Abstract
A total of 103,751 mosquitoes from Okinawa were tested in 734 pools for virus isolation. Japanese encephalitis virus was isolated from C. tritaeniorhynchus Giles. Sagiyama virus was isolated from C. tritaeniorhynchus and Aedes vexans nipponii (Theobald).
