Retinodialysis in Dairy Cows

Abstract

Retinodialysis was found in 2 left eyes of 2 cows when direct ophthalmoscopy was carried out on both eyes of 1, 166 dairy cows, showing a morbidity rate of 0.17%. The 2 eye were affected with total and partial retinodialysis, respectively. Since cattle have a monocular vision, the 2 cows seemed to have no difficulty in locomotion.
