Abstract
The seismic reliability assessment of transportation network requires consideration of several items including: (a) evaluation of regional seismisity, (b) microzonation with respect to local geologic and soil conditions at each site, (c) structural response and system analysis, (d) network analysis. The objective of this research is to perform the evaluation of transportation system immediately after earthquake hazard using limited number of recorded free-filed ground motion data. In this study two types of earthquake hazard are examined for highway transportation system: ground motion, and liquefaction.
