Abstract
Quality of leadership has become a major focus of almost every business today. Leadership style has been shown to be a major factor in the effectiveness of the organization, and different leadership styles are sometimes more effective in different situations. In fact, leadership is many different things for different people in different circumstances. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of research on leadership style, including definition of leadership, identifies major leadership theories and related studies. Hopefully this study could be a good start for people who are interested in the research of leadership style and may supply researchers or leaders with knowledge for advanced study as well.
