Abstract
This article initiates a regular monthly department of the Journal of Business Education dealing with nonvocational business education. While many teachers of business subjects have long felt that the social-business subjects were not making the type of contribution they should, they have made little attempt to remedy the weaknesses of these subjects. The purpose of this department will, among other things, be that of helping to focus attention upon the need for improvement in this type of business education.
