Abstract

本研究は神戸市西部の都市近郊農村を対象に, 農村地域の土地利用特性と鳥類生息との関わりを年間を通じて明らかにした. その結果, 農耕地地区ならびに里山地区の両地区とも多くの鳥種が確認でき, 都市近郊において多様な鳥類の貴重な生息空間となっていることが明らかとなった. 水田や畑を中心とする農耕地地区内では, 二次林や自然林の鳥相が豊かであり, 特に二次林が鳥類にとって重要な環境を提供しているが, 水田や露地栽培の畑作地集落地では樹林では見られなかった鳥種も確認した. 農耕地地区における鳥類の多様性を維持するためには多様な土地利用がモザイク状に存在することが重要であると考えられる.
