Chinese Nuclear Emergency Situations and Suggestions after Fukushima Nuclear Accident

Nuclear emergency is the last line of defense for nuclear safety. After the Fukushima nuclear accident, most countries have made new preparations for nuclear emergency. It is the massive development planning for nuclear power and the safety risk of military nuclear facilities that make the significance of nuclear emergency prominent. Our country has accomplished some achievements on nuclear emergency, but some weakness still exists. It is suggested that our country should reinforce legal construction of nuclear emergency, funds input for nuclear emergency, the research and development of the special technology and equipment, and building the assault force for nuclear emergency rescue, all of which will meet the new situation of nuclear safety and nuclear emergency at post-Fukushima age in our country.
