Abstract

Wireless sensor network consists of communication, sensing, and computation into a single tiny device. A sensor network is made up of an array of numerous sensor network of many different type interconnected by wireless communication network. Information and data from the sensors are being shared among the many sensor nodes. Distribution estimation system will use them as input. Systems then extract the information wanted from the data. Architecture and topology of wireless sensor network are designed to optimize the cost effectiveness, reliability, efficiency and power saving consumption. Unlike most other technologies, wireless sensor network small and inexpensive. As a result of this, wireless sensor network has become one of the key research area in not just in computer science, but also in healthcare applications industries. Several type of wireless sensor network uses in healthcare industries. Research on the architecture and topology will be on Wireless Ad Hoc Network and Wireless Sensor Network for health care. The architecture, characteristic each of their advantage and disadvantage will be mentioned.
