ACHEVING CREATIVE ARTISTIC VALUES BY USING HAND EMBROIDRY ON WOVEN AND PRINTED BACKGRONDS

Abstract

The study divides in to five chapters: First chapter: Contains the prospective of the study, its importance and it ends with the vocabulary. Second chapter: Contains the theoretical study. This chapter divides into four parts: 1- Contains the previous thesis in the speciality of embroidery, painting and weaving. 2- Contains historical and analytical study in the art of hand embroidery through different times starting from the ancient Egyptian nation passing by modest Egyptians and the Islamic times that ends by showing the techniques of embroidery and the methods of its production and the beauty value that comes as an end result. 3- Contains historical study for the art of painting& printing through nations& in the Kingdome of Saudi Arabia. This part contains detailed description for the different types of printing and the methods of their production in the old days and currently. 4- This part concentrate on the textiles assembly and textile origin from the ancient Egyptians to the current days, so it contains a detailed explanation for the most important textile production techniques and how they are produced and how is suited to the different embroidery techniques. Third chapter: This chapter divides into two parts as follows: 1- The art of mixing& adapting between embroidery, painting and textiles with showing the dress of Ka’aba and the ways to produce it. 2- This part considers the art of mixing& adapting between the painting and textiles assembly techniques as well as embroidery in the modern arts with a special analytical focusing on the new artistic works. Fourth chapter: The applied study: This chapter contains the practical experiment that divides into three parts: 1- Adapting the techniques in hanged works and plates. 2- Adapting the dress techniques. 3- Adapting the techniques of accessories. Fifth chapter: This contains the results of the study and the objective summary as well as the references in Arabic and English languages.
