Abstract

The planktonic foraminifera (Orbulina universa and Globigerinoides sacculifer) and benthic foraminifera (Cibicidoides, Uvigerina and Nodosari) taken from Southern Mountains (Sambipitu Fm., Oyo Fm and Kepek Fm.) were collected for measuring the oxygen isotope. The purpose of this research is trying to calculate the composition of the oxygen isotope from the foraminifera for reconstructing the paleoclimate.
