Abstract
Circular polarization of the bremsstrahlung produced by the BETA particles emitted in Li/sup 8/ decay was measured. The polarization is concluded from that of the bremsstrahlung and by comparing the result thus obtained to that of the BETA - nu angular correlation measurements carried out by Mayer- Leibnitz et al. It was found that the spin of the antineutrino produced in BETA decay is oriented in the direction of the momentum of the antineutrino. (auth)
