Abstract
Eight subiects each received atropine and pralidoxime alone, simultaneously but separately, and also mixed in the same iniection. Heart rates were counted as an indication of absorption of atropine. When the drugs were mixed before iniection, the heart rate response had a significantly longer latent period than that when they were given simultaneously but separately. The addition of pralidoxime to atropine somehow impedes the action of atropine.
