Abstract
A description is given of the research on a device to control the exit steam quality in the individual fuel element assemblies of boiling water reactors. A proof-of-principle device has been constructed and successfully operated using an air-water mock-up of a boiling water reactor flow channel. The basic theoretical and experimental work in two-phase fluid flow in support of the design was also conducted. (auth)
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
