Abstract

Abstract A gel diffusion precipitin technique for estimating individual proteins in complex protein mixtures such as serum or other biologic fluids is described. The error for estimation of 8 human serum proteins over a very wide range is calculated and the coefficients of variations for the determinations of each of these proteins are shown to be constant.
