Abstract

If there was any aspect of tax that filled me with fear and dread during the years I was doing articles, it was that of sectional title Body Corporates. The reason was that we were never quite sure how to calculate the exempt portion - and, to be honest, nor did our counterparts at the Receiver of Revenue (as the South African Revenue Service was known in those days).
