Abstract
An impacted maxillary canine is a frequently encountered clinical problem in the mixed dentition. It will cause loss of the canine guidance, damage of the occlusion, and discoordination of the maxillary and mandibular arch forms. The case was a 12 years old girl with an impacted maxillary right canine and a supernumerary tooth located in between two central incisors. Treatment procedures included surgical exposure of the high positioned canine, followed by bonding with a lingual button, and orthodontic traction the impacted canine to the proper position. The result showed an excellent occlusion. It is important to have proper diagnosis and provide the patient with an optimal treatment plan.
