Abstract

The Homelessness Intervention project (HIP) was initiated in late 2008 to urgently respond to the needs of rough sleepers in the inner city. This project presents a way of working together that is a sign of the future for service delivery in NSW, and is an initiative which follows the strategic direction Responding Effectively to Homelessness in the NSW Homelessness Action Plan 2009-2014.
