Abstract

Abstract The article is a description of elementary terms and approaches in the process of designing modular task forces. This paper describes a primary methodology and basic steps for a modular architecture design followed by creating of modular units. In the main part of this article the basic determinants of organization of modular structures are described. Among described features, the anticipated results during the use of modularity principles, the key characteristics of modular forces, as well as the necessary steps for transition and use of modular forces are listed. Keywords: Modularity, concept, module design and development, methodology of modularity, modular structures, modular forces, modular units, operational needs, operational capabilities.
