Information 2, Paisley Museum and Art Gallery, Elements from 'Exchange Value' from Information, 1989. This exhibition is part of 'Generation', a nation-wide programme showcasing some of the best and most significant artists to have emerged from Scotland over the last 25 years. \n \nInformation revisits a ground breaking contemporary art exhibition that took place at Paisley Museum in 1989 in which I had a large work called, 'Exchange Value’, interrogating the value and currency of contemporary art. The 1989 exhibition featured works by students and recent graduates of Glasgow School of Art, many of whom are now important artists. In the spirit of the 1989 ‘Information’ exhibition, current GSA MLitt Fine Art Practice students present their work. In this revisited exhibition I presented elements of the original work I had presented 25 years before.
