Abstract
The new legislation at the European level in the domain of occupational health and safety requires that employers should adjust the work to the individual, especially when it comes to designing work positions, to choosing work equipments, work methods and productions, so that monotony and work with predetermined rhythm should be reduced as well as their subsequent effects on health. Therefore, when the employer needs to recruit personnel s/he should take into consideration the abilities of the prospective employee relative to occupational health and safety.
