Abstract
Triazophos 40 Ec and dimethoate 30 Ec recorded lowest larval population (1.4, 1.55 and 1.7/plot) after first spraying. The same trained was observed in second spraying also. However, next superior treatment was thiamethoxam 70 wS followed by phorate 10 G (before sowing) and phorate 10 G (30–35 DAS).
