Abstract
For each submanifold X in the sphere 511, we show that the corresponding conormal bundle NX is Lagrangian for the Stenzel form on T S`s, Furthermore, we correspond an austere submanifold X to a special Lagrangian submanifold NX in T 8. We also discuss austere submanifolds in 51 from isoparametric geometry.
