Abstract

Six insecticides viz., Spinosad 45 Sc, Indoxacarb 17.8 Ec, Imidacloprid 17.8 SL, dimethoate 30 Ec, cypermethrin 25 Ec, and Emamectin benzoate 5 SG were sprayed against jassids (Amrasca biguttula biguttula Ishida) and whitefly (Bemisia tabaci Gennadis) in brinjal based on ETL. Imidacloprid 0.004 per cent followed by dimethoate 0.03 per cent were the most effective insecticides in controlling brinjal jassids and whitefly.
