Abstract
This paper analysis advantages and disadvantages of pork export costs and prices in China and the United States based on cost benefit factors at first. Then it selected two indicators net profit and rate of return to judge the competitiveness. At last, the paper analysis factors that affect the competitiveness of Chinese pork. It found that the production costs of Chinese pork is higher than the United States, and it is mainly greatest impacted by the newborn animal feed costs, but the cost of Chinese pork including labor costs, indirect costs, tools, fees, service charges are predominant. The export price of China's pork is much higher than the United States, which results in cost-benefit ratio of China's pork exports is higher than the United States, and this will provide a larger space for the development of China's pork exports in the future.
