Abstract
The fraction distribution and potential transformation of Phosphorus(P) in sediments of rivers in Chongming's village were analyzed by dint of SMT method. The results showed that the inorganic phosphorus(IP),accounting for more than 85% of Total P(TP),was the predominant fraction of total phosphorus(TP),while the organic phosphorus(OP) in TP only ranged from 9.93% to 18.45%;while AP was main fractions in IP,over 88%;pH value,of significant positive correlation to AP,would be important indexes on the physical and chemical properties of sediments, which impacted on the potential environmental behavior of P fractions.
