Abstract

Highest percentage of seed germination was recorded with Conc. HCl treatment for 1.5 min. (96%), followed by mechanical treatment followed by that with Conc. HCl (0.5 min.). Hot water treatment at 50°C for 15 min. also enhanced seed germination up to 85%.
