Abstract

THE CARBONIFEROUS OF THE ABRAMOW STRUCTURE  SUMMARY A description is given of the characteristics of Carboniferous sediments observed in eight boreholes drilled by the Oil Research Survey within the Abramow structure (Lublin basin) in NE Poland. The macrofauna there has reliably suggested the presence of the Dinantian (Upper Visean) and the Silesian (Namurian and Lower Westphalian) overlying the Upper Devonian and underlying the Middle Jurassic.
