Abstract

A number of physicochemical properties of electrolytic powders of tantalum and niobium with a raised content of impurities were investigated in the process of pressing and high-temperature sintering in vacuum. The question of removing the impurities in the process of vacuum refining of tantalum and niobium is discussed. The results were used for developing production methods of obtaining plastic tantalum and niobium from electrolytic powders. (auth)
