Abstract

Paddy straw is an agricultural waste that contains cellulose. Cellulose can be used for the production of bioethanol by hydrolysis of polysaccharides that can solve a constituent monomers of sugar. The aims of this study was to determine the effect of comparison cellulase enzymes from Trichoderma reseei and Aspergillus niger and time of hydrolysis to glucose resulting from the enzymatic hydrolysis process with the highest glucose parameters. In this study the enzymatic hydrolysis performed by utilizing cellulase enzymes from Trichoderma reseei and Aspergillus niger. Trichoderma Reseei fungus species have the capacity resulting in endo-s-1,4-glucanase and exo-s-1,4-high gluknase whereas species Aspergillus niger can produce high s-glucosidase. Hydrolysis process was done by varying the ratio of the two enzymes cellulase and observation of the hydrolysis time. Variations in the volume ratio between the cellulase enzyme A.niger: T.reesei was 1:0, 0:1, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 2:1, 3:1. Whereas for taking the time sample performed at 8th, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64 and at 72 hoursBased on the results of the study,. Highest glucose obtained at a ratio of 1 A.niger treatment: 2 T.reesei with hidolisis time during the 64 hours that produces glucose by 16 434%. Whereas for the biggest decline in the enzyme activity present in 1 A.niger: 1 T.reesei is equal to 0.172 IU / mL. Keyword : Enzymatic hydrolysis, cellulase enzyme, glucose
