Abstract
This paper presented dual-ring resonators for the design of a miniaturized dual-band filter. The size of the proposed dual-ring resonator can be reduced by 40% of the size of a conventional square-ring resonator. A 3.5/5.0 GHz dual-band bandpass filter consisting of dual-ring resonators has been designed and fabricated on a RO4003C substrate for verification. Measured data show good consistency with the simulated results.
