Vasectomy: a sutureless technique.

Abstract
In this article the technique used for a sutureless vasectomy utilizing electric cautery is presented as a fast effective and inexpensive method of permanent male sterilization. It is considered to be particularly useful where large numbers of vasectomies are to be performed in a clinical situation. 431 men were used in this study and 12 of these developed complications including hematoma failure of aspermia persistent scrotal pain and epididymitis. All responded to treatment without further difficulty.
