Effects of rapeseed cake fertilizer on growth, development and leaf quality of Nanjiang 3.

Nanjiang 3,a flue-cured tobacco variety,was applied with different amounts of rapeseed cake fertilizer based on the original fertilizing method to improve its leaf quality.The results showed that applying rapeseed cake fertilizer had no obvious effect on growth and development of tobacco plants and improved its leaf quality significantly,the proportion of tobacco leaves with first and medium rank increased by 9% and the average price of tobacco leaves increased by 1.60 Yuan/kg.The indexes of external quality,total sugar and reducing sugar content,ratio of nicotine to total nitrogen,chemical composition coordination and smoking evaluation of tobacco leaves applied with 8kg/667m2 rapeseed cake fertilizer were the best in tested treatments.There were significant effect on inherent quality of flue-cured tobacco when applied with rapeseed cake.
