Abstract
In this project a preliminary design of a 24 meter sailing yacht is undertaken. The yacht is going to be used for charter in unrestricted area. The intention is to cover most aspects that are of major importance of the preliminary design, however the main focus is on the structural design. The ambition is to produce a preliminary design that can be carried on to a final design without any large changes.
