Abstract
A field trial was carried out to study the effect of seed dressing chemicals and Rhizobium inoculation on the yield of soybean. The results indicated that the seed treatment with Rhizobium japonicum gave significant increase in grain yield (2845.99 kg/ha) followed by the seed treatment with TMTD (0.25%)+ Rhizobium (2756.32 kg/ha) and Phorate 10 G soil application + Rhizobium seed treatment (2714.41 kg/hal. All the treatments have recorded significantly higher grain yield over control.
