Abstract
An analysis was made of temperature and pressure effects on ZrC and HfC sintering. The results showed that the most dense (2 to 5% porosity) specimens were prepared by hot pressing at 2900 deg C for ZrC and HfC and at 3000 deg C for HfC and TaC. (R.V.J.)
