Abstract

Field experiments were conducted during kharif 2007 -2008 and 20082009 at the experimental farm, Department of Horticulture, Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani (Maharashtra) on well drained black cotton soil to study population dynamics of major insect pests of brinjal. The incidence of aphids, jassids, thrips, whiteflies, epilachna beetle and BSFB showed preponderance of aphids, whiteflies and brinjal shoot and fruit borer.
