Abstract
Seven insecticides viz., acephate 75@ 350g, acetamiprid 20 SP@ 10g, dimethoate 30EC@ 300g, fipronil 5SC@ 50g, imidacloprid 17.8 SL@ 20g, oxy-dematon methyl 25 EC @ 250g and thiamethoxam 25WG@ 25g a.i. ha−1 were evaluated in the field against mustard aphid. The plot treated with imidacloprid provided their superiority over other insecticides, which resulted the maximum mortality of mustard aphid with highest yield (1963.5 kg ha−1). However, remaining insecticides were also found significantly superior over the control. The highest cost benefit ratio was obtained from imidacloprid (1:35.5) with a record of maximum monetary benefit of 29,973.3.
