Abstract

Field experiment was conducted during the Samba season of 2002–03. Seven weed control treatments were tested in randomized block design with three replications. The yield attributes and grain yield were significantly increased by the weed control treatments. Pre emergence application of pretilachlor + safener + conoweeding + hand weeding followed by hand weeding twice recorded higher grain yield of 5.83 and 5.69 t/ha respectively.
