Abstract

This attempt was made to find out the effect of three organic amendment viz. Vermicompost, Neem Cake and FYM (Farm Yard Manure) against Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn different dose of the extract of these amendments. The lowest amount of the amendments was not ableto inhibit the growth of the pathogen. The results indicate that the Vermicompost and Neem cake reduced the growth of the pathogen over the control but the FYM has opposite effect on the growth of the pathogen by increasing the radial growth of the pathogen in lab condition. The amount of Vermicompost and Neem cake i.e. 10 and 20 ml is showing the highest inhibition if the fungus. While in case of FYM the highest dose of the amendments is increasing the growth of the fungus.
