Abstract

This study aimed to compare the effeciveness of ELISA and FAVA in detection of antibody against rabies vaccine.Healthy dogs were inoculated with rabies vaccine and antibody titre was measured by ELISA and FAVN method from the 14th day.The immunized dogs were challenged with rabies virus BD06 strain. No significant different between ELISA and FAVN was found(p≥0.05,p=0.19).The positive coincidence between the ELISA and Rabies virus challenge of vaccinated dogs was 100 %.
